Privacy Policy

Information FieldsRaven handles

Merchant and store information. FieldsRaven receives information needed to install and operate the app, including the merchant's Shopify store domain, store and account details, contact email, plan and billing status, granted access scopes, authentication credentials, app configuration, and support communications.

Field and submission information. Merchants configure the values they want their storefront to collect. FieldsRaven processes those field definitions and submitted values, along with Shopify resource identifiers, processing status, and integration results. A customer submission can include a customer identifier or email when it is needed to process a merchant's configured customer field or integration.

Operational information. FieldsRaven keeps application and job records needed to operate, troubleshoot, secure, and support the service.

How information is used

FieldsRaven uses this information to provide and operate the app; authenticate with Shopify; write the metafields or metaobjects configured by a merchant; run integrations that a merchant enables; process billing through Shopify; troubleshoot, secure, maintain, and support the service; and comply with legal obligations or protect legal rights. FieldsRaven does not sell personal information.

How information is shared

FieldsRaven shares information only as needed to provide the service: with Shopify to operate and bill for the app; with Klaviyo or Airtable when a merchant enables and configures that integration; with infrastructure, email, and operational service providers that help run FieldsRaven; or when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

Public FieldsRaven pages load fonts from Google. Those requests send Google standard connection data such as the visitor's IP address, requested URL, browser and operating-system details, and referrer.

Where submitted values live

Successful saves are written to metafields in the merchant's Shopify store. When optional metaobject sync is configured, FieldsRaven separately attempts to create a merchant-controlled metaobject entry; a mapping or sync failure does not undo the metafield save. While the app is installed, FieldsRaven also keeps operational submission records so it can track the Shopify write and any integrations the merchant enabled.

Retention and uninstalling

When a merchant uninstalls FieldsRaven, the app removes its active shop, configuration, and submission records. Metafields and metaobjects already written to Shopify remain in the merchant's Shopify store unless the merchant removes them.

FieldsRaven currently retains a separate uninstall record containing store and account information for operational administration and history. FieldsRaven does not currently apply a fixed retention period to that uninstall record or to operational logs. A merchant may request access to or deletion of retained information by contacting karim@fieldsraven.app. A request may be limited where retention is required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

Privacy requests

Merchants may contact FieldsRaven to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information. A shopper or customer should normally direct a privacy request to the Shopify merchant that collected the information. Merchants and shoppers may contact FieldsRaven at karim@fieldsraven.app about information FieldsRaven retains.

Security

FieldsRaven uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when FieldsRaven's practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
